Filley Park Restoration Program --- Status: Phase 4 project out to bid

The Filley Park Restoration Program is an on-going, multi-phase effort to rehabilitate and restore Filley Park in the Bloomfield Town Center. The best way to learn about the program is to read the Program History and Phase 4 Improvements document which can be viewed/downloaded by clicking here

The Filley Park Restoration Program has been designed by the consulting firm of Fuss & O'Neill (Manchester, CT).  Progress has been guided by the Filley Park Committee, composed of community volunteers, and Town staff.  The Phase 4 construction project is currently out to bid.  Bids will be opened on July 20.  Assuming all goes well, a notice to proceed to the successful contractor is expected to be issued in August; with construction to begin in late August or early September.  The Bid Documents call for the project construction to be substantially complete by May 30, 2024.

Phase 4 is intended to be the final major construction phase of the Filley Park Restoration.  The goal is for Filley Park to continue to be the Jewel of Bloomfield for many decades to come!
