Food Resources

The Bloomfield Food Bank is made possible through generous donations of Bloomfield’s citizens, businesses, schools, religious institutions, civic organizations, and many more. 

The Bloomfield Food Bank is open two days a week and is staffed by Social & Youth Services Staff members. Extended hours are available on the second Monday of each month, January through October, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., by appointment only. Please call 860-242-1895 on the FIRST BUSINESS day of the month to speak to someone to make an appointment. NO  voicemails please as we will not get to them in time to ensure you a spot. If you are interested in utilizing the Food Bank, you will need to show proof of Bloomfield residency and fill out an application on site. Applications can be completed at the Bloomfield Social & Youth Services. One registration per household, limited to two visits per month.
