Bloomfield Foster Care Support Network
A program of Bloomfield Social and Youth Services that is funded by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and is unique in the state. Participation is available to all foster children and families residing in the town of Bloomfield. The Youth Services Coordinator, a Foster Care Specialist, and Youth Activities Coordinators staff this program.
Rise Group
This program serves youth ages 5 to 18 who are enrolled in the Bloomfield Foster Care Support Network Program. Youth participate in monthly enrichment activities such as recreational/cultural activities, youth cafes, and nutrition cooking sessions. Opportunities for community service hours are provided throughout the year.
