Bloomfield Social and Youth Services provides assistance to identified individuals and families through various holiday programs.
To help celebrate Thanksgiving, turkey baskets are distributed to households registered with the department. Baskets are donated by individuals, businesses, religious institutions, schools, and civic groups.
We also collaborate with these entities for our Annual Holiday Gift Card Program and Toy Drive Distribution! Holiday gift cards and toys are distributed to families and children ages 13 and younger, who are eligible for various Social Services Programs such as the Bloomfield Food Bank and Bloomfield Fuel Bank.
