BBC Notable Landscape Awards

The Bloomfield Beautification Committee (BBC) invites you to participate in our annual Notable Landscape Beautification Awards. These awards are designed to encourage and promote community involvement in keeping Bloomfield a beautiful place to live, work, and play. BBC recognizes and honors residential, commercial, and industrial property owners whose properties reflect their commitment to gardening and their community pride.

Notable Landscape Guidelines:

• Properties are judged based on neatness, creativity, color harmony, plant health, plant and tree selections, and overall effect. Does the landscape have eye and seasonal appeal? Is the space inviting? Are plant materials or hardscapes used in a creative way? Are there any pollinator gardens? Paving and pathways should be clean and no weeds. Hoses and garden tools put away. Garden beds mulched. There should be absence of weeds and litter. Invasive plants on the property may cause disqualification.
• Beautification Committee can only consider street facing landscapes and gardens. ADDRESS MUST BE WITHIN BLOOMFIELD TOWN LIMITS.
