Monthly Reports

CEEC provides monthly reports to the Public Health, Safety, and Environment Subcommittee of the Town Council.  These reports give a snapshot of CEEC current projects.

Trees for Bloomfield Initiative

The Bloomfield Beautification Committee and the Conservation, Energy and Environment Committee (CEEC) along with interested residents have established the Trees for Bloomfield Initiative. This initiative is a way to provide residents a tree canopy for generations to come.  And, in as much as a mature tree stores four tons of carbon for forty years, planting trees will help to reduce carbon dioxide going into the planet’s atmosphere and mitigate climate change. In addition, all these trees will enhance our neighborhoods as well as provide shade, fall color, wildlife habitat, enrich the environment, and provide oxygen.
