Dog Licenses

All dogs 6 months and older must be licensed in the Town in which they reside and must wear the license tag on a collar around their neck. All dog licenses are renewed by June 30th of each year. Effective July 1st of each year, there is a $ 1 registration surcharge for each month a dog has been unregistered. Licenses may be obtained provided you have a current rabies certificate and a verification of your dog having been neutered or spayed, if applicable.

Dog License Fees

  • Spayed / Neutered Fee: $8
  • Non-spayed / Non-Neutered: $19
  • Guide Dogs: No Fee
  • Kennel License: $51
